Hi CHS Swim,

Congratulations to our team for a job well done Friday Night and for getting our 1st meet in the books! We had many great swims, including Allison Henschel winning the 200 Free and Madeleine Koss winning the 100 Back. The Girls Placed 4th, and the Boys placed 7th. Great start to the season!

The pool is directly behind the baseball field in the back parking lot area of the school. 

Please arrive by 4:45 PM

Warmup starting at 5:00 PM with a Meet Start of 5:30 PM

At this time, we do not need any volunteers. There is a $3 spectator fee, so please come with cash in hand to get in the door.

We have not gotten the heat sheet yet, but if we get it ahead of time, we will send it out. Stay tuned!

Swimmer Christmas Party - December 14th @ 6 PM

Swimmers take a break from studying and come eat dinner. They will have a white elephant gift exchange. Spending limit is $20. They can stay for as little as long as they would like as we understand some may need to study more!

Apparel

We should be getting some apparel this week. Unfortunately, some are still on backorder - tis the season. We will hand out what we have this week at either the meet or the party. The rest should be in right after the new year.

State Meet - Hotel

For those planning on attending/competing at the State Meet, it is in Knoxville this season.It is typically there every other year. It is a prelims and finals meet on February 10 and 11, 2023. You will want to arrive Thursday afternoon for meet warmup. If you would like to stay with the team, we are staying at the Hampton Inn and Suites on Papermill Drive/Knoxville. Here is the link.

They had 50 rooms left as of last week, so I would encourage you to go ahead and reserve. You can always cancel. The state meet has over 80 high schools in town, so hotels fill up similar to football game weekends.
