This Week and Centennial Holiday Show Help

Dear CHS Swim Families,

You are invited this Wednesday, November 10th to come watch our very own senior Zoe Summar and other CHS athletes that are committing to universities as they have their signing day ceremony. It will be at 3 PM in the Performing Arts Center. Congratulations to Zoe who will be signing to swim at Arizona State University!

No practice this Thursday, November 11th as the pool is closed in observance of Veteran's Day.

Centennial Holiday
Show

The Centennial Holiday
Show is back and takes place on November 20 & 21 and is the biggest fundraiser for
our school and team each year; plus it's a lot of fun! We will have a booth
that will sell baked goods such as loaves of bread and pies with all proceeds benefiting the team. We need
everyone to participate to help make this a success. Signups are HERE.
Listed are some ways you can help:

  • We will need swimmers to man the table. The perk for
junior and senior swimmers is that the hours you volunteer can count for
Tennessee Promise and National Honor Society service hours.

  • Parent chaperones to supervise the booth. We have to
have at least one chaperone at all times. Your bonus is you get in free
and can shop before or after your shift!

  • Donations of baked goods such as loaves of all kinds: pumpkin, gingerbread,
    cranberry, lemon, etc

  • This is a great way to help, if you aren't able to help
    at the swim meets!

Lastly, congratulations to all of our swimmers that competed in our 1st meet of the season at the Ensworth Invite. We had one swimmer compete in their very 1st meet ever, 6 regional cuts, and 6 state cuts. Great job!

Have a great week!

Go AquaCougars!
