Swim Season and Registration
Hi CHS Swim Families,
Thank you to all that showed up to our team meeting this week! It was great to see returning and new families.
Here is the basic information of what we went over in case you missed.
Registration Information - By October 1st
- 1)Go to https://chsswim.swimtopia.com/
- See info for the year and register
- 2)Venmo Dues to Brian Poerio - $350 - @Bryan-Poerio
- 3)Questions? Email [email protected]
Most sports at CHS require a team fee. We have no funding from the school system, since we are a club sport, so we rely on our team dues and fundraising to cover our annual expenses. These expenses include: insurance for each swimmer, swim meet registrations, lane rentals, swim caps, apparel, salary for our coach, and other incidentals.
You can pay half of the $350 by October 1st with the 2nd payment due December 1st, or you can pay the entire balance. Please do not let finances keep your swimmer from participating! Email or talk with Bryan Poerio with any questions on dues.

Working with Williamson County Rec and Lifeguard Shortage
We are thankful that the aquatics facility director is working through challenges of being able to have high school swim meets and practice even though they are open for shorter hours and are experience a huge staffing shortage.
So that we can have a season, we are being asked to help provide lifeguards during some of the swim practices. We have not been given all the details yet, but our best guess is we will be asked to provide a lifeguard once or twice a month to watch 3 high school teams practice. They will be paid for their time.
If you are already lifeguard certified, please let either Coach Camryn or Jennifer know if you are able to help with this.
If you are interested in becoming lifeguard certified and would like to also be employed at a Williamson County Rec center as a job a few hours a week, they will certify you and waive the $125 fee. Anyone interested in this path has to be 15 years old or older. Again let Coach Camryn or Jennifer know and we can connect you to the staff.
