Hopefully everyone is safe and your homes are okay after all the rain and storms this past week.

Top Times Report

Attached is the Top Times for each swimmer. Please review and let Colin know if you see something that is not correct. In a unique season like this one we are proud of each swimmer's efforts and progress toward their personal best times.

Championship Meet Information

This year's championship meets will also be unique. Our high school swim governing bodies MTHSSA and TISCA have worked hard to do the best we can with the hand that has been dealt. Information continues to be finalized as facilities still have maximum numbers that can participate in each session. Here is the best we know to this point, and we will continue to send out updated information as we receive it.

Regions Meet

• The Regions Meet will be Friday, April 16th at Centennial Sportsplex in Nashville.

• Swimmers with two State cuts will not be allowed to swim at the MTHSSA Region meet. We will be combining the Region results with those from the State meet to produce a final region meet result. Swimmers with one state cut will be allowed to swim at Regions to attempt to make their second state cut. We know this will come as a disappointment to some and that it affects the team environment, relays, etc. This is being done in order to keep the numbers of the meet down to a level that the Health Department and the facility can accommodate.

• The format is probably going to be a girls session followed by a boys session and then a a combined girls/boys session. The meet will be flighted which means the fastest so many will swim in the 1st/2nd session and the remainder will swim in the 3rd session.

• We will work with the school to turn in the names of the swimmers competing in the regions meet, so their absence will be excused.

State Championship Meet

• The state meet will be Saturday and Sunday April 24^th and 25^th. There will be four sites. Each team’s site will be determined by TISCA. The large majority of our Region including us will be at Ensworth. Although some teams could be sent to an alternate location to allow TISCA to meet site regulations for COVID-19.

Practice Schedule This Week

No practice this Friday as it's a school holiday. The rest of the week is regular schedule.
