We hope everyone had a great fall break and is back at the pool working hard in practice.

We have a few updates we learned this week to share with you.

1) Team Picture Day for the yearbook is this Monday, October 29th. Swimmers need to meet in the lobby of the gym at 3:15. Unfortunately, our team apparel is not ready. Please wear last year's CHS Swim T-shirt. If you need a swim shirt to wear, please email us and let us know. We will do our best to have a few extras available.

2) Please mark your calendars for Saturday, November 10th at 11 AM. We have been invited to compete in the Ensworth High School Invitational Meet. We will send out more details as soon as we have them. This will be a great first meet to race in before we face our district competition!

3) The Centennial Holiday Show which takes place on November 17 & 18th is the biggest fundraiser for our school and team each year, plus it's a lot of fun! We will have a booth that will sell loaves of bread with all proceeds benefiting the team. We need everyone to participate to help make this a success. More info to come on this, but here are some ways you can help the team:

•  Swimmers to take shifts to run our booth. A bonus for junior and senior swimmers is that the hours you volunteer can count for Tennessee Promise and National Honor Society service hours.
• Parent chaperones to supervise the booth. We have to have at least one chaperone at all times. Your bonus is you get in free and can shop before or after your shift!
• Donations of loaves of all kinds: pumpkin, gingerbread, cranberry, lemon, etc
• If you are a parent that would like to coordinate this, please let us know. This is a great way to help, if you aren't able to help at the swim meets!
